Meet Brent Tolley-Martel, the recipient of the NHU’s 2008 Apprenticeship Scholarship

Congratulations to Brent Tolley-Martel!

Brent, who turns 20 this month, has been awarded the National Health Union’s Apprenticeship Scholarship for 2008.  The photo above shows the young man receiving a union cheque in the amount of $2,500 from National President Tony Tilley to help facilitate his studies.

The son of Local 70008 member Shirley Tolley intends to pursue his apprenticeship training by enrolling in the automotive service technician program at Ottawa’s Algonquin College.  Shirley, Brent and Tony can be seen in the photo below.
