Your overall union dues are comprised of THREE distinct elements:

     • dues paid to the NHU's bargaining agent, the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC);

     • dues paid to the National Health Union (NHU), your employer-specific Component union that

            deals directly with senior management; and

     • dues paid to your NHU Local Union, that with the support of the NHU National Office, provides

            direct representation in your specific workplace.

To determine your total monthly tax-deductible dues, consult the chart below. The classifications existing in your Local (listed in alphabetical order) and the dues amounts below are based on the June 2010 employer print-out.

Please note that, in calculating percentage dues, you should apply the lowest level/step of your particular classification (not your current level/step).
