Large, enthusiastic member turnout at re-launch of our ‘Golden Horseshoe’ Local

I’m Building My Union, the NHU grassroots process to refashion our union from the ground up, continues to generate high levels of member enthusiasm across the country.

Almost every member turned out to officially re-launch Local 00032 (Golden Horseshoe) at a May 7 noon-hour meeting held at the Public Health Agency of Canada’s Laboratory for Foodborne Zoonoses in Guelph, Ontario.

National President Tony Tilley was on hand to swear in the new Local 00032 executive and to answer numerous questions about our union from the eager members in attendance.
